Chatbox

Chatbox is a cross-platform AI client that connects to Model Studio using Token Plan (Team Edition), Coding Plan, or Pay-as-you-go.

Download and install Chatbox

Go to the Chatbox website, download and install the version for your operating system, or use the web app directly.

Configure credentials

On the Chatbox page, go to Settings > Model Provider and click Add . Enter a Name , set the API mode to OpenAI API Compatible , and click Add. Then, enter the API key and API host for your billing plan.

Model Studio offers three billing plans. Choose the one that fits your needs:

• Token Plan (Team Edition): Seat-based subscription. Token consumption is deducted from Credits.

• Coding Plan: Fixed monthly subscription billed by number of model calls.

• Pay-as-you-go: Post-paid based on actual usage.

Token Plan (Team Edition)

Parameter	Description
API key	Enter the Token Plan (Team Edition) dedicated API key.
API host	https://token-plan.ap-southeast-1.maas.aliyuncs.com/compatible-mode/v1 ** The API path is not required.
Model**	Click Create and enter the model name in the model ID field. For available models, see Supported models for Token Plan (Team Edition).

Coding Plan

Parameter	Description
API key	Enter the Coding Plan dedicated API key.
API host	https://coding-intl.dashscope.aliyuncs.com/v1 ** The API path is not required.
Model**	Click Create and enter the model name in the model ID field. For available models, see Supported models for Coding Plan.

Pay-as-you-go

Parameter	Description
API key	Enter your API key.
API host	Enter the URL for your model's deployment region: - China (Beijing): https://dashscope.aliyuncs.com/compatible-mode/v1 - Singapore: https://dashscope-intl.aliyuncs.com/compatible-mode/v1 - US (Virginia): https://dashscope-us.aliyuncs.com/compatible-mode/v1 ** The API path is not required.
Model**	Click Create and in the model ID field, enter a value from Supported models.

Verify the configuration

After completing the configuration, type "Hello" in the chat box and send it. If the model responds, the configuration is successful.
